YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
If your life has been touched by mental illness, you are not alone. Many people feel isolated by mental illness due to the stigma and misinformation surrounding it.
Mental illnesses are biological brain disorders and can disrupt a person thinking, feelings, mood, ability to relate to others, and daily functioning. Mental illnesses are treatable medical conditions.
One in five people are affected by a mental illness. An isolating mental illness affects persons of any age, race, religion or social economic status. When a person has a mental illness, the whole family is affected.
The good news is, due to research and medical advances in medications and treatment, recovery is possible.
